Yea it is.The thing I don't understand,is the truck was ordered in Cali,one of the hottest states.Yet the truck was ordered without A/C.It was probably owner preference,and the vent windows provide enough A/C,but still.lol.
Eh, who needs A/C anyways, lol!
I'm surprised my truck doesn't have A/C, since it the the top model offered.
But i love the vent windows and the sliding rear window.
I have already decoded the vin and axle code, but, can you decode the spring, and tape codes for me?
Also, what was the highest GVWR ratings on the F-150 with the 302?
Are you aware that H9 is a LimitedSlip rear axle?
If the AXLE code begins with a letter: Limited Slip.
If with a number: No Limited Slip.
--------------------------------
B = EOTZ5310B .. Front Spring / Load Rate 2650 lbs.
D = E2TZ5560D .. Rear Spring / No Load Rate listed.
After March 1981, Ford no longer lists the spring load rates in the parts catalog (the SOB's!).
If the springs part number was used before that date, I can find the load rate. After that date, I'm SOL.
This was the case originally, and today, it's the same old sad story.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Tape 2 = Regular & Super Cab.
Two stripes run the length of the upper side of the fender/door/cab corner/bedside.
The lower stripe is much thicker than the upper. Several different combo colors were available.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The GVWR depends on the TYPE-GVW code, not by the engine size.

I had asked someone about this but I never got an answer.My axle code is 13,which means I have No limited slip.And I know it doesn't have a posi.So,does this mean that my left rear axle spins freely?And if my Right rear wheel loses traction,say if I got stuck on a wet dirt road,does that mean i'm screwed?I'm thinking so.

And I know it doesn't have a posi.
There is no such thing as a Posi, or Posi-Traction axle on any Ford.
Posi, or Posi-Traction are GM terms. Originally the term Posi-Traction was used by Packard (not a GM car!) in 1956, as this was the first vehicle to offer it (as an option).
Ford uses the term Limited Slip, which covers a wide range of axles like: Traction-Lok, Equa-Lok, whatever.

Ford introduced Limited Slip in 1959 on passenger cars and F100's initially.
Did not know that.....you learn somethin new everyday.Thanks.

Super clean truck built_ford_tough, very nice. Whats on the lock cylinders?
Thanks displacement4me, Yours looks good too. On the doors locks, it's a bedliner patch. I guess the previous owner did it to reduce chipping the paint if the key missed. Its cool. He did it inside on the "threshold" (Spelling? Sorry) The truck has a bedliner on it too but its a different type, its more rubber than sandy. I thing Rhyno did the bed.
Additional Info:
It has a 302 EFI, AOD Tranny, 4" Inch Rough Country lift, 15" Pacer Wheels mounted on 31" BGF All-Terrains, Bedliner, Lights mounted in the fenders, amber front/red rear, fog lamps, factory marker lamps on roof. and in shipping, a used but nice tailgate finish panel.
Future Ideas:
Installing a double/single chrome roll bar w/ off-road lights, 4x4 conversion, also changing the 4" lift to 6" lift with Sky-Jacker springs and shocks (Using existing brackets from the lift now), 35" Mickey Tompson Baja Claws mountedf on Classic Locks, finish restoring my interior colors, possible re-paint (Same colors)
