If you change the ride height on an IFS more than an inch, forget alignment.
I have Firestone Ride Rite air bags on mine.
When I still had the IFS axle while I was on an alignment rack, we played with air pressure in the bags.
20 pounds of air raised the front bumper 1", and the camber was out farther than the bushing change would correct.
If you made new brackets to drop the frame mount for the axle, you could make it work if you were very good with your measurements and calculations.
But you are into a lot more work than you would be with a straight axle.

Don't the 01 250 have a straight front axle?
They do make lift kits for IFS. Comes with all the brackets to lower the axle mounting point on the frame. And yes the 01 has the straight axle and it comes stock with the reverse shackle mod. The front mounting plates for the springs would be useful to any one with leaf springs wanting to to the mod.
you can install the shackle reversal kit on a obs f250, but you need a drop bracket for the axles pivot point. sky-manufacturing is the cheapest best place to get this kit from. iirc they have the bracket to drop the pivot point as well. 99+ dont need it, they are already shackled in the rear.
