It will only work with the leaf springs and solid axle, so if you have done the swap of axles then yes otherwise no.

excuse the dumb question, but I'm new to all this. What are the benefits of swaping the axle.

OBS f-350's and all the 99 and up super duty's already have a straight axle so yes a straight axle swap can be done on OBS f-250's

Swap would be pretty easy. it is all bolt in but acquiring parts is spendy. You need a Ford Dana 60 front axle complete hub to hub, steering linkage complete, track bar and track bar frame bracket, F-350 driveshaft and t-case yoke. Then optional are 350 springs and sway bar.

Sorry to bring up an old topic, but does anyone have pics of their install of a RSK? I have the kit but its just not clicking for me... am I supposed to drill mount holes into the frame or what? I just don't see where the bolt holes would match up to anything on the frame... help!

Ran into another issue... my left rear spring bolt won't come out. It's spinning the sleeve inside the bushing. I've tried everything from pounding it out to heating it up and I can't budge that bolt. Can anyone help me with some tricks or something? Thank you...

Cut it off with a torch is about the only option. Then you will need to get a new spring bushing if you are reusing the springs.

why does it seem that people say you can't do this to an F250 with twin I beam?? I am most positive you can do it just the same as if you had a D60. Heck you can even use the superduty springs with a RSK and an OBS F250 with twin I beam.

We have a F250 at work. I think it is a 2001. They have the shackle on the rear of the front leaf spring. There is a leaf spring mount up front that looks like it just bolts to the frame. If you can get the front mounts from a 2001 and your shackles fit your rear mounts your good to go.
