Interested in making my early 99 a late 99, need advice

I love my truck, but I think I'm pretty much modded out, so I'm looking to upgrade to a late 99-03 turbo.

I know I need the turbo, spider, air manifolds on the heads. Am I missing anything?

Also, I plan on buying off of ebay so I can use my ebay credit card (I can hide it from the wife that way- unless someone can give me a good cash deal) so if/when I get a 99-03 turbo, what should I do to ensure I get good boost (rebuild, wicked or Banks wheel??)

Can I just cap off the AIH since the early 99 didn't have them (they suck anyways)

Do I need to get my DP tuner reflashed?

Lots of questions, Thanks for all the help!

You need the turbo, pedistal, plenums, spyder pipe, up pipes, and baby's butt (aka collector pipe)- basically anything the turbo bolts to. If you want to be true to fashion, you'd also need the bigger injectors.

...and 17* HPOP.

If the wheel on your early turbo is okay, just use it. Same thing as a WickedWheel (or Banks Wheel, etc, etc...).

To do it right, go to Blackwidowdiesel.com , and get this- http://www.shop.blackwidowdiesel.com...&productId=400

Includes all you need (new), plus bellowed up pipes which is becoming the standard for those who dont like a leaky exhaust system. Then throw in a BB turbonetics, and you're set! Buy the pulse when it comes out, and a set of hybrids, then a transmission, etc LOL.

I can help you out with the turbo and pedistal (I can rebuild the turbo for you), and Rampage F_350 just put in bellowed uppipes Friday, so he has a set of stock uppipes (one pipe is scored, but the collector is good). you would still need plenums, boots, and the spyder.

EDIT: Do what Kris posted, then all you need is the turbo.

That blackwidow set up is a good deal, but due to my budget, and the fact that I just ordered a set of Swamps 175's, I will have to take my time and piece it all together using ebay I guess.

I've heard about the bellowed up pipes (you get from the IH dealer) before, but tell me again how they compare to the stock pipes Ford sells?

with bellowed pipes there is no donuts..once you put them on thats it..your done..unless you need to pull the turbo again...you do not need a reflash for the chip..you will not feel much power gains..but will see lower EGT's..i put in the WW when i did mine..banks wheel and all others like that are all the same as a WW...just another name for them..i pluged my AIH and tapped for the boost gauge...
