i'll be trying mine myself, then taking it to a shop for the pipe... the only way i'll get anyone else to do it is if i bust something, or looks like i will in the process. so far, most stuff on my truck has been pretty free, unseized!!

I think I would give mine a shot too. With all that EFI crap in the way it might be a tad harder, but if a shop can do it, so can I!

Just gotta be carefull with those bolts going into the head, right Ryan?

i just have headers and mufflers. I want the exhaust tucked up close tot he body and they dont make kits for my truck. I dont put them on because im afriad ill break a bolt off (55 year old truck) and that im redoing the motor next winter (the plans anyway) so ill do it then. Took the old girl out and cleaned her up today too. Slapped an alt from my 86 on there and she just purrs. O im so pround of myself. brakes work, my flares kick ***, oil pan doesnt leak and steering is awesome. Yay me!

Nope, but the ones that go into the block are the tempermental sometimes.....
