Ah, should be just about as strong. Alot of guys use them without problems, you just have to keep an eye on the chain tension and oil pump spinning out.
Funny you should mention that, as I just stumbled onto the broncospeed section yesterday but havent had the time to check it out in detail. It would be pretty cool if the bronco guys can get something going like the jeepspeed guys.
Yeah, I have seen that thread (i posted in it last, actually ) I have heard good things about autofab. I wish I could talk to someone or see how they went about attaching them. I have heard conflicting words on whether or not they mount up in the same brackets or if they have other brackets or what.
After browsing on the ranger station, I learned some more about the D44 TTB swap, there are a few people that have done it to their rangers, and an explorer should be the same, I would think.
I aint using anything yet, but if I cant get a 5.0 in a 94, the next "best" is a 4.0 v6. I dont think that would stay in forever, but I would do the suspension before the motor stuff. I am just prepping for a future project. I still need to get the SAS done to get the D44 TTB for this project.

There is not much wrong with the 4.0l... they are pretty torquey for a 6.
