I've just stuck my head into the SuperDuty forum to see what the latest over there was.
I ended up so depressed that I couldn't even comment on it there.
Story from a military wife (husband deployed) who travels cross-country with an early 6-oh, has numerous problems with it, gets screwed-over by a few dealerships along the way, and still hasn't got her problem resolved. I'm generating a fair amount of sympathy for her plight.
Some newbie with a brandy-brand-new 08 tells her he has no sympathy for her at all, and that it was just irresponsible for her to have started the trip with too little cash, etc. I wanted to neg-rep him, but couldn't even bring myself to do that.
Seems the lower the post count, and the newer the truck, the more rude they feel they can be.
We are just so fortunate to not have to deal with overtly rude people here. I'm just proud to be associated with this side of the fence. Nowadays, that side stinks.
It was only one of "our" guys, Joe (Izzy), that was able to say all the right things. I know I couldn't, I was just too dumbfounded.
You all have done nothing except treat me with respect and helped me when im in need. There is no price anyone can pay for that! When people on FTE give out so much info and many give away valuable goods, that is really saying something about the caring community that we have created. Thanks Pop
I saw that thread earlier today. Was bad yet, but there wasnt any love!! I was going to say something, but was on my phone and it's hard to post with it. Thanks for reminding me of the thread. Maybe I'll go put my 2 cents in now!!

Well said. There are many people in the Super Duty forum just like Pop mentioned. I have also read some posts in the 08 forum just to see what is going on with the new trucks and the people in there seem to be just as rude. A guy was telling all of the problems he was having with his truck and some people went as far to call him a liar and that he really didn't own that truck and things like that. I can honestly say that I have never run into anyone in the 7.3 forum that is rude thus far. Everyone here is so helpful and respectful to one another.
Now that is a bad topic overthere. Glad I own a dirty 7.3 and live on this side. Yes, it is unfortunate she had to go through and still is going through that B.S. Thanks to the 7.3 world I'm still somewhat sane.
Hurry, Go Read My Post On Page 5 Before They Delete It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just read it and well said. I started to read that thread eariler today and it was too long for me to read at the time. I had no idea that it was so out of hand.
I can see now why some people can get a bad taste in their mouths about this site when they come on here and read the crappy way that people get treated on here sometimes.
