Rick, that was well stated. Face to face is best but FTE hasn't established the use of web cams yet.

Rick I think that is a very good point. It would be very easy to misinterpret what someone else is saying. I find the use of smilies is a good way to tell if you are joking. But if someone doesn't put that in there then I guess it is left up to you do determine what the person meant. I have read many posts where I was thinking afterward, is he being serious or joking?

I to read alot on here to the point that when I post its to asked something further on someone elses question or to have fun with someones post. I might ask a question on something and not get the responce I'm looking for to fully answer my question and I just let it so because I had bugging. Sometimes I think you have to be populer or something to get an answer or something. But I feel there is no dumb question.

If you don't know is if someone is serious, ask them. Pm them and ask, I would not mind that if some took me wrong, of if I took someone wrong.

I do think that sometimes, perhaps too often, people do not search enough before throwing out their question. Most people here though exhibit unusual patience for that sort of thing and I believe that is indicative of the mentality of the FTE folks; we really like our trucks and we really llike to help each other out. Besides, being flamed a bit just toughens you up; a bit of verbal jousting is actually fun. So join in please.
Well put.

As long as I can understand what the OP is talking about, thats all I need and will never put him/her down about spelling or grammer.

Rick. If you're worried about spelling you need to go here http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
and download the Firefox web browser. It comes with a spell check feature that works in these little windows we type in.

Edit: It also comes with a feature to make all the words bigger without messing up the screen view if you're eyes aren't what they used to be.

Attention gordonh8r! Our records show that you haven't posted in over 2 weeks. Remember that FTE is a community and we need your participation! Don't be afraid to post and be a part of the action.

I could always post some BS topics (like this one) or repeat some but this forum has so much information that I don't see the need to post unless the I can't find the topic. Further more not all topics are listed the same for instance 4" exhaust ,MBRP exhuast , 663 filter or Napa filter and so on........

Sorry .. I'm venting here ...just a bit frustrated
Sorry you feel this way and I have seen a very little of what you mention. Don't ever be afraid to post, but don't be afraid of being corrected either, Lord knows I've been corrected more than once. All is in good fun and meant for all of us to learn. Please don't confuse suggestions with busting chops. If I took everything too serious, I would have been gone a long time ago and would have been all the more dumb. Feel free to bump a post now and then and get your post numbers up. Plenty of BS post going on now and you can jump in on any of them. You can post on some of the other forums as well and up you post count. Once you get started, it's really hard to give it up.
