Flywheel balance?
I understand that there is a difference between 302 flywheels and damphers (for manual transmissions) based on year of production. What year flywheels and damphers can I use on a '71 302? And are all 302's externally balanced? Thanks

Flywheel balance?
Sometime in the mid 80's they went to the 50oz balance. I don't think the 351 ever changed. You can use a 351 flywheel for the early 302's. They are externally balanced. You can tell the difference in the balance weights by looking at the flywheels.
