Looking to do the CCV mod, Got a question

I understand the International vents theirs from the factory and Ford decided not too, I have seen the write up for this, but was wondering if how international did it and if they used a different "dog house" and would it be better( or just possible) to go to go with the same exact set up as their trucks?

They use the same "dog house". The only difference is the way it points. It points towards the rear. They have a formed metal pipe to connect to it.

oh ok, this formed metal pipe your talking about is the pipe that the gas vents out instead of using the heater hose?

Correct... Just vent it to a convenient spot and be done with it. This was my first mod, and the reason I found this site...

You can turn yours as well, if you want.. I did. It makes it better for running the hose up and over the master cylinder.. I also got a piece of SS exhaust (4") to replace the plastic intake pipe.. Most exhaust shop probably have a short piece laying around. I ran my hose back near the rear wheels and ended the hose into a plastic jug to catch the oil, along with vent holes in the lid.. If you end your hose under the cab, you will get fume smell...

Don't forget to plug the hole were the hose comes off of.

Since it is vacuum, I would think a vacuum cap would work

Might seem alittle cheap but I just JB Quicked a beer bottle cap on it, alittle black paint, can't really see it anyway.

Take the plastic coupler that the CCV hooked up to out and replace it with either some 4" exhaust tubing or a 3" PVC or ABS coupler. If you go to guzzle's web site he even made a fancy bracket so it bolted back up like the stock CCV housing.
