Well, if you want to, why not talk to ITP Diesel? They have a pipe all ready to fit in and it is powdercoated and has a bracket to hook on like the stock piece.

I spent less than $20 and did the same thing their kit does. Mine does not have the bracket or powdercoat, but those aren't needed anyways. I would NOT spend $60 on that kit in this lifetime, the money would be way better spent on something else.
Yep. I've been PowerStroking on the Dark Side now for about a year. Time flies!! Thanks to Kris, Alan, Brandon, Mike, Dan, Pete, etc, etc, etc, my truck is 100x more fun, and a hell of a lot more powerful. And to think it all started from a stupid grungy CAC tube when I found the back of my block oily, and some drips on the tranny plate...

Did you use the mounting bracket? How did you secure the replaced 4" pipe?
yea I was thinking about that today, how ddi you plug it?, I am prolly goin to do this tomarrow since tonight I went out drinking with some friends of mine instead of finishing wat i started lol
I used 2 part epoxy and a nylon insert that snapped in. Dennis at ITP may sell you the 4" adapter separately.
Well im lookin to do this tomarrow and hopefully this will stop the oil from coming down the back of my engine... there was ALOT of crap in the IC pipes and on the boots.
It will probably solve your problem. Remember to be ready to replace the dog house O-rings- I picked up a couple 1.25" x 1.5" x 1/8" O-rings in the plumbing section at the hardware store for $0.49 I think that worked perfectly (after it was suggested to me here, I can't remember who now).
