Thumbs up Hot Shot's Secret Additive Update

I want to thank everyone on the site for helping with HSS. So far we have had very consistent results. Better mileage, Less stiction, More Power and Smoother acceleration and idling. Most people have reported that their turbos are operating better and sound better. The returns or people asking for a refund have been consistent with the trials during development. One out of 14 people don't see enough improvement. Which is fine. If it doesn't work we want you to have your money back. This email is very useful for explaining what we have been seeing:<O</O

Good Morning Chris,

If you remember, I spoke to you about two weeks ago in reference to my '03 F-350, 6.0 Power stroke running rough.
I had just taken it into the shop and they diagnosed #1&2 injector weak and #5 injector non-operational.

They wanted $1855 to replace the three injectors.

Fortunately for me, I found your product on the Powerstroke.com Website.
I am very skeptical about adding "stuff" to my oil. However, after speaking with you, my fears were abated.

I had your product "Hot Shot" overnighted to me. I couldn't wait to see if I had a "magic pill" in my hand. Here in NH that night the outside temperature was somewhere around 15 degrees. I warmed the engine for about 10 minutes drained oil the required 1/2 gallon and dumped in your product.

I started the truck up and let it warm up. After 10 minutes, I noticed a change in pitch on the engine. So off I went for a test ride. I drove it about 125 miles that first night. I had a friend along and we both could tell a difference in the "roughness" and also the pitch of the turbo.

I thought "WOW", it fixed it. But sadly to say, it didn't completely fix my truck. It was still running rough at about 1400-1800 rpms (45-55 mph), but much better than before adding "Hot Shot".

I called and spoke with you and you told me the following, "It appears the product, Hot Shot" is working. Drive it some more.

Back and forth I commuted to work for about a week, put almost 750 miles on the truck. It just seemed to be running better and better each day.

Last Friday, the truck was running so good, I made an appointment at a different Ford Dealer here in NH. The diesel qualified technician showed me the computer diagnostic for my truck. The two weak injectors were fixed. No problems with these two.

But old # 5 injector was "mechanically damaged".

I elected to have this shop replace #5 injector and re-program my computers. To quote the technician on my repair order, "Now the truck runs GREAT".
He verbally told me I have a hot rod.

Now for the good news:
The shop only charged me $700 for the new injector replacement.

Your product just saved me almost $1200.

WOW, all my buddies with diesels are going to here about your product and you!!!

Being one of the 14% that it didn't completely fix still has made me very happy.

THANKS!!

Bruce Tibbetts

Chris, do you recommend using "Hot Shot" as preventive maintenance? If so how often.

Thank you.

JMASKEW,
I recommend 1 half bottle (1 quart) every 3-4 oil changes. 64 oz. works as a cure for trucks having problems and 32 oz works to prevent the problem.

I just placed my order! No problems to overcome--I just want to help prevent as many as possible. I'll be posting more once I get mine, but it's too bad I just changed the oil this past Saturday... I'm not really anxious to drain out 2 quarts of Rotella 5-40 synthetic!

I was one of the unfortunates to have no change with the HSS, still happy with the way I was treated and would recommend you to anybody experiencing any problems with the injector stiction. Luckily for me the inductive heating flash worked like a charm on my truck

I used it in my 6.0 because I was experiencing some stiction issues, It didnt completly cure the problem but it definatly helped, The biggest improvement was making it run smoother. Another bottle may have helped even more but I ended up trading it off.

Chris, have you heard anything from 7.3 guys using it? I would like to try some in my 7.3 just to maybe clean the system up.

I just placed my order via the website. No real problems but anything that works for others and will prevent problems I am willing to try once. Anxious to try it. Will provide feedback.

I have been selling it to 7.3 guys with good results. The 6.0 is where the big problem is and that's what HSS was developed for, but it seems to be working on the 7.3 as well. I have been offering a bottle of Primrose Fire Power with it. It is a highly concentrated detergent with cetain. I figure if you attack the fuel side and the oil side at the same time you have to get good results.

Hi Chris, do you ship in Canada, does it mix good with synthetic 5/40. I have no trouble with my truck, 07 F250 King Ranch, late 06 engine build, with 6379miles, preventive maintenance. Thanks

Grizzws,
We ship to Canada- No Charge. Some day I will have to change that because the cost keeps going up. But right now it is free. The additive works great with synthetic. Use a half of bottle (32 oz.) every 3-4 oil changes.

Chris, I just posted another update in the linked thread. My truck is one of the ones that may take a second OCI to clean up completely but I'm sure it is doing the job. I switched to synthetic with this last oil change and between that and HSS I have seen a lot of improvement. I will continue to use HSS in the future as a preventive measure.

Thanks again Chris, your dedication to your customers is outstanding!
