Question Exhaust probe.

Just installed the pillar gauges in the X. Reading the directions and suggestions on the board here. Were would I find the "R" on the drill bit for the probe hole. What size would that be ex: 1/4 or what?

It would be where it normally is. Here are the details on an R bit:
8.6106mm -- .339" -- R -- 1/8"-27 NPT

Check out the size chart here (R is quite ways down the list):

If you are going to tap it the size is a 21/64 drill bit. Start smaller and work your way up use a shop vac to suck out the shavings.
Hope this helps!

I used a 21/64 and it works great. Drop the front driveline and save yourself some trouble. You can get it done with out dropping it but what a hasle. Be careful not to tap too far.
