Can anybody comment on how much "slop" there should be in the output shaft/slip joint connection on an SROD transmission connected to a one-peice drive-shaft? In other words, where the slip-yoke of the driveshaft enters the tailshaft of the SROD transmission? While trying to isolate a driveline vibration today I found that I can move the joint around in the tailshaft quite a bit. I'd say it deflects as much as 1/4 inch in any direction. I would think that there should be zero deflection or slop.
