Hi,
I was at work when a fellow walked up to me and said that he noticed that some of the black paint on the fender badges had come off (F-350) and told me he had just had his truck serviced at the dealer and they noticed it and replaced them for him for free because they now that there was a problem with the paint.
anybody hear of this .
my truck is going in for routine service monday.

Ive noticed this with the newer F and E series trucks. Even the ones that look like they are taken care of seem to have the paint peeling off of the badges.

It's possible, drop by your local service department, slip your guy a few bucks or a beer and ask.

If you are under warranty they will replace them for free. Heck, they probably would anyways if you ask nice
