Hi I posted this in the expedition forum and is not a question about power strokes but maybe someone here has some experience with it.
my wife's exp has the oil filter mounted behind the front bumper and last service I noticed the oil lines from the filter to the block are sweating oil a bit .So I was wondering has anybody had any experience with changing these hoses?
does anyone know if the hoses can just be changed or this is a unit with the hoses attached to where the filter screws on? and how bad of a job is it?
i fi recall its not too bad, the other end of the lines goes to where the oil filter would normally attach to the engine block, i will have to doublecheck the book to be sure, i only replaced one set and that was on an accident vehicle a while back.
