i havent gone out of town for the last week so this is pure around town millage, #2 fuel 2 stroke oil at 1/2 qt per tank and a superchips max tuner on towsafe mode, 100 miles maby 15-20 miles of highway and another 20 of light towing (around 6000lbs) no rpms over 2000, when driving unloaded i was shifting at 1500 rpms with 4.10's and 5 sp and i got 17.8 mpg i almost couldent belive it myself
Sounds good to me. I am lucky if I get 17 MPG with city driving. I try to shift at lower RPM's but I have the urge for the surge and my truck seems to pull hardest at around 2000 RPM's
my truck defently pull the hardest at 2000+ rpms only time iv even heard my turbo spoll any this week was pulling light trailer. but with desile prices the way they are
Yea I hear you about the price of fule. My stater went last week and I would rather drive the truck but I am in no rush to fix it. Been driving the car ever since.
nothing wrong with that, fuel costs will eventually get to everyone...
i try to stick to 65 or 70 tops on the highway, 70 is 2000 for me, my optimum is 55, thats 1500
