Does anyone put fuel injection cleaner such as those small bottles of Gumout in there take once and a while?

On what motor? I'll dump some seafoam in the gassers every once in a while.

Seafoam isn't too expensive and is available at most auto parts stores. Give that a try.

Every oil change or 5000 miles I add a bottle of STP "Complete" Fuel Injector cleaner. I have been doing this on all my vehicles for over 10 yrs.
Just what I use...and seems to keep everything nice and clean.

Just a name brand on another one of those additives. Gunk, STP, Seafoam, etc.

I haven't done that on my 7.3 but always put a bottle Techron on my Porsche for the last tankful before oil change. It's approved and recommended by Porsche factory so I've followed their (and many reputable shops') advice. Basically every Porsche owner I know does that too.
Never have, nor will put anything else though.

I've used seafoam. It seems to make a difference and quiets down ticking fuel injectors for a while
