Fuel Injection Cleaner

Just after some information regarding injection cleaners,when i was over on the west coast last year i spoke to the F Truck guys who told me that i should be running F 10 injector cleaner through the truck.
I started reading some information regarding injection cleaning products and i couldnt find anybody who could honestly say that any cleaner worked.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

A lot of the IDI boys use either trans fluid and/or 2 stroke oil in their tanks.

I am running 2stroke in my 7.3.
200 to 1 ratio, (5mls per litre of fuel).

You have to use good quality mineral oil though, the synthetic
stuff settles out in the tank.

Been doing it in the 1HZ Toyota since the new motor went in it,
100,000kms ago, as well.

I'm not sure what Effie you have but with the IDI's the boys fill their fuel filters with atf run it for 30 seconds shut it down and let it sit over night. ATF has cleaners in it that will clean the older pumps and injectors.

I've used Chemtech on all of our farm equipment and diesel vehicles. Usually every 2nd tank, buy it by the 20l drum. I know its quite popular with the truckies too.
