I have been looking for a 460 to replace my 351M for quite some time now. So today when I was glancing throught the adds in the local trading post. I came upon a what they said was a.
1983 F350
4wd, 460, 4spd,
The truck came with a meyers plow, only thing it needed was a fuel pump.
They only wanted $450 or best offer for the thing
So just as I thought it was sold before I called.
I would say the only place a TTB axle might not work as well is extreme rock crawling,
Other than that if you look at all the other types off road racing they use the TTB axles due to the extreme independant travel they have.
OOOOH GODDDD, Not trying to convince you of anything, but good question, and maybe they do, but I dont know. Just know that solid axles do perform better on the rock crawling coarse, thats been proven, but on everything else TTB does great and thats been proven. I will also try to refrain from useing the word extreme it seems it makes you upset, sorry.
