I would say the only place a TTB axle might not work as well is extreme rock crawling,
Other than that if you look at all the other types off road racing they use the TTB axles due to the extreme independant travel they have.
Have you ever seen a TTB axle? Why in Gods name would anyone doing anything extreme want a TTB?
Just a heads up....
Rock crawling by far much harder on components than mud trucks will ever be. There wouldnt be half the amount of chromo stuff around if it wasnt for the sport of rock crawling.
How many sets of 4340 44TTB shafts have you ever seen?

Have I ever seen a TTB axle? Gee and I thought all this time I had solid axles on my 89' F250.
O jeeze I didnt want to start world war 3, everyone has their own opinion
Im my opinion I think the TTB is junk when conserning offroad use, but for good ride etc when properly set up and aligned the TTB is very good on road, and light duty use.
My 2 cents
D60 front/D70 rear, get it right GOSH, haha nice truck tho, i agree if i were me id SAS it and thro mudders on there but like said to each his own, you get 30 mpg in that truck tho? i dont belive that
No not this POS, my offbrand car with a 3.1. I dont need a sold axle in the front for what i do. Im more into 1/4 mile with my bud. He makes the money -I make the parts. (machinist) pie R sq.
