The truck is a 1987 Ford 6.9 Diesel, the owner says that the truck will not start after sitting overnight, so he replaced the glowplug realy and glowplugs, and still no go. But it will start if you coast start it. Any ideas what the problem might be?
If you cranking and cranking, and all this stinky white smoke is coming out of the tailpipe but it won't start, then I would worry about the glowplug system.
If you do not have all the stinky white smoke, then I would start worrying about the fuel system and fuel delivery.
