brake bleeding

Need some help here fellas. I installed new calipers and brakes on my 2001 Explorer XLT. Can't get a good pedal. Pump the pedal about 5 - 8 times, pedal gets firm but when bleeder is opened fluid comes out but not really under any pressure. Did one side three times then went to other side and did same. Then repeated. Pedal didn't feel right. Started engine and goes right to the floor. Fluid level got real low once during the process so I thought maybe the master cylinder. Bled it several times. Still no joy. Bled the rears also, still the pedal goes to the floor. I've done plenty of brakes before but never had this problem. Maybe I'm missing something. Something to do with the ABS maybe? I'm stuck. Got any ideas? Thnx, Karl

P.S. Good pedal before I started the brake change, pads were gone.
