Air Bag Code 44
Went in for an E chek today and and my 98 f-150 failed becuase of the check engine light wasn't working. Well ,they said it may be the bulb. Well I have had that dash instrument panel out to change some burnt out bulbs.
Well I must have put the bulb into the spare slot because the there wasn't a bulb in the check engine lite . We took the spare and plug it into the check engine . Put it all back together and reconnected the battery and started it . We got a check engine light .
Well the Code 44 for the air bag I had was gone. I think all this time and I had the bulb out of check engine that fault was in that circuit. I also have a bell that tell me that the seat belt is not connected. I never remember that warning .
