Replaced Bulb But Airbag light continues to Blink
Hi,
I posted a yesterday about problems with airbag light blinking and eventually staying on in a 2001 Mazda BSeries and 2002 F150 4.2L. The code 27 inicated a blown bulb in the passenger airbag on/off switch.
Well, the Mazda just had a short and thank goodness I fixed it this morning and it has been working fine all day.
The bulb was blown on the 2002 F150. I replaced it. The on/off switch clearly illuminated on and off like it should. So the bulb replacement worked.
However, the airbag light still flashes the same code 27 and won't go off. So, I still have no airbags in case of an accident. I know that you cannot clear the codes by unhooking the battery cables. But that is the point I am at now. I have messed with it every which of way.
The bulb replacement worked. So, How can I make the air bag light stop flashing.
Any suggestions welcomed.
Thanks and thanks to this website for all the help.
