Ya'll just dont understand this guy, heart of gold, give the shirt off his back kind of guy, but he is the most naive, stubborn cuss there is.
i might just sneek over to his house one evening and put it on his truck while he is sleeping. Hell, he never opens the hood anyway, he wouldn't know.

I hate to see children, animals,or PSD's suffer from neglect.

He'd know as soon as he put his foot in it, then when he heard all the noise the turbo was making he'd probably bee-line to the dealer and be like WTF??!?

That last line made me chuckle too

Mike, If you are really serious about coming down for the event, get in touch with HKusp (Jason) he's from carney MD, or Kris(strokin_it 7.3) he's from MD too, and they are both coming down. Myself, Rampage_F350(Chris), tenn01PSD350(mike), Jdecker(JD), JtHarvey(Jeremy), and a few hundred more folks are coming too. tech day is thursday, drag racing is friday, dynos are sat. with a possible truck pull in there sometime(still unconfirmed).

Nah, think about it cracked airbox with a big hole in the front already. shoot, the surge on that thing already sounds like a pressure cooker about to blow.

There is a guy at work who's truck didn't start for him on evening ( 02 7.3 ) so he asked me to look at it. I told him the GPR. He put off fixing it, then just up and went to stealer. He spent $270 for then to look at it and had the GPR replaced. I told him he should have listoned to me. Could have saved him some $$$$

I have refered several people to this site also and when I ask them if they have checked the site out I get the "I'm not having any problems yet". So I tell them when/if they do have problems they will have an idea of where to start looking, they just dont get it!! Just reading all the posts here I have learned so much from everyone elses problems that I am not nearly as scared to start digging around under the hood if a problem arises!

Sounds great brandon, I always wanted to load up my 6.50 foot bed with ice and beer. I have to check with the wife and kids job and schooling and my personal days from work.

I think a big part of the problem is the ad's and truck shops around here. what do 100% of the ad's say? RANCHO, BANKS, SUPERCHIPS, BULLY DOG, Etc! People assume these are the best. I know i did when i was young

I came here and asked if "A volant air intake, cat back exhaust, and some intake air swirler" would be a good combo. I was ready to buy. You guys SAVED me. I have gained so much knowledge about these trucks and diesel engines overall. I love my PSD. It feels SO much better to fab your own intake instead of buying one from volant or k&n. Things like the CCV mod,the wicked wheel. Things that so many people dont know. Thanks a ton guys - You have all given me the right tools to fix this beast and keep it running. Im a very proud PSD owner.

Good post. I'm sure I'd never would've known how much of a dog my truck was before. I mean, jeez -- stock, our trucks have about 210 RWHP, and 505 ft-lbs of torque. Now I'm at 311 & 681. *681*!!! 100 more hp and almost 180 more ft-lbs!! That blows my mind. Can't wait for the next steps...

My brother and I were in my shop last night looking at his new Diesel mag. He started on the Banks is the best a/m company for mods. He went on and on how good they are, and I asked him, how do you know this. He opened the pages of the mag and said, it says right here. look at all the adds in here and they have more people working on new stuff all the time. lol I could not convince him different.

He drives a dodge and I tried to get him to find a dodge fourm to find out what is the best for his truck. But he knows its the Banks stuff.

I give up.

Yes,Yes, Yes to everything metioned here! I just want to thank everybody here personaly, for the helping me out, and giving me the knowledge of the PSD 7.3, that others dream of, or should I say, think they know of.. I have invited many of my freinds to FTE, but don't see them on here, but they call me for advice when they have a problem or before they go to the dealer to get it fixed. Just get's to me sometimes!! Once again thanks to everyone here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last time that happened it cost me thousands of dollars, because many people talk the talk, but don't walk the walk, promising to attend but not actually doing so.
