Can't get a blinker working

I've figured out that the two metal prongs in the bottom of my front blinker's pigtail are not hitting the bulb, and I can't figure out why. The prongs are getting power, so I just don't know how to get them to stick up any further. Anyone have a suggestion, I like my blinkers.

I had a similar problem on a 79 F-150. The contact points were getting power but the lights weren't working. Turn out the plastic slots in the socket that hold the bulb were worn and it was letting the bulb slide up enough to lose contact with the prongs. You might try replacing a socket to see if that helps. They are only a few bucks at a parts store.

You might want to double check the ground connection on your current socket before you replace it.

the sockets good, both prongs are getting power. As someone mentioned above, the socket is worn out, and the bulb just wobbles around. Oh well, no time to fix it now
