Their are several companies out their that are making FI kits for almost anything.
One is called Howell they make a kit that adapts GMs TBI to a 4bbl intake. I think the average shade tree tech could build one of these setups out of salvage parts for very little change. I know these are chebby parts but they are fairly simple to maintain and replacment parts are cheap and plentiful.

Hey guys, well I figure I might as well let this one out. My EFI set up thats going to be on my 400 PME makes 351M/400 to 351C adapters and then further down to 351C to 302 adapters. I will be running the big huge heavy 302 truck intake with the 460 distributor, not sure yet what to do with the thermostat housing on the 302 intake but ill figure something out.
Now heres where it will be alittle more exspensive but worth it, the computer A9L from the mustangs are mass air to where most aftermarkets are speed density(im currently trying to locate a computer for my 92 to convert to mass air due to exhaust being too much for the speed density set up to like it).
Set up is easy with them no knock sensor to worry about like with most aftermarkets I have seen too one thing the 400 dosent have along with the AIR tubes. The air tube issue I have found can be tricked by tuning the computer pretty much eliminated with the heads not having the provisions for the air tubes really can't run it, and most computers arn't happy when they can't do what it wants put air in the heads or in the exhaust. The computer tuning can be costly but if it means having a 400 on MA SEFI I am willing to do it.
I wouldn't run the aftermarket the EEC-IV can be set up to run anything, but now a days finding the A9L computer is getting pretty difficult, and the whole OBD-II system is just a pia to me.

Just my 2cents
Curtis
