Flushing the radiator help
#2
The thread below has my thought on flushing. I have replaced my thermostat and will flush out the chemical flush tomorrow afternoon put in the anti-freeze. I should be good for a while.
I live in south Texas so I wanted to know everything was clean inside. I did the same on my 64 F100 and it made a world of difference. Also the chemical flush will uncover any small leaks that have been filled with rust or corrosion. It is better to fix them now than while sitting on the side of the road in 100 degree heat.

How did your flush go? Ran my first for for 3 days and it came out looking like old tea. Dumped that and I could see brown on the radiator so I added more cleaner for another day. That also came out brown. I probably should have ran the second batch for several mores days. Anyway she is full of Fleet Charge and distilled water with no leaks. I should be good for a while.
