My monbacker quit working?

My monbacker quit working?
Park Assist Reverse Sensing System (Monbacker) has started acting up. I have cleaned the lenses and all, but rather than giving false readings, the darned thing just shuts its self off every time I put the truck into reverse. Has anyone else had this issue?

Does it shut itself off, or is it getting power at all. Sounds like its time to break out the multimeter, and find the "monback" module. If the unit is not getting power you need to trace the source off power and figure why is is not getting 12vlts. If it is getting power, then shutting down, thats a different story and more difficult to trouble shoot. As always though, check all the wireing for good connections, and shorts to ground. Good luck.

As I indicated above, I turn it on place truck in reverse and the off light illuminates and no beep, beep...... There is power there for certian. All was good till tust the other day, no off road or ripped wires highway driving. No reason for it to act up or be tempermental. Yeah, the lenses are clean and I checked the harness.
