I bought mine off of ebay they ran me about 30$ for the pair. they were 7 watt CREE LEDs. They work quite well illuminate everything far better then the stock halogens even better then Silverstar ultras. Very good cheap upgrade especially for me as I tinted my front windows so it makes backing up at night a breeze.
One of the things with the LED is they tend to be very directional.
So if the person that makes then used one type over some other.
You can go from a spot type beam to a flood beam (you may want that).
One way is to go get some cheep ones at Autozone or Pep Boys Auto Parts.
I have seen LEDs at both and not too much price wise. Find the type you like
to try and then if you don't like check Ebay or Amazon.
You can also get a strip light, that goes across the back, just over the bumper, under the tailgate, against the back of the bed, that glows red with running lights, and turns white when the reverse lights are activated.
A friend had one, and I thought it was pretty bright.
I wondered if the strip had dual color red / white LED's, or red LED's and white LED's. I still don't know haha.

those are "fire and ice" LED's, have them on my SD. separate white and red LED's look awesome but provide little added light when backing.
