We just bought a 04 Expedition Eddie Bauer, and I was wondering what kind of leather conditioner you all use. Also is there anything special I should know about how to keep the leather looking new. Thanks
Try Tanners leather preserve. The 1998 owners manual recommends it, I believe. We have a 2000 now and have been very pleased with it. I bought a 6-pack from Amazon, and we use it on the Expedition and other leather furniture in the house.
I use Malco, it's a specialty product that high end detail shops use to clean leather. If you use it, your terry cloth towel will come out looking black with all of the soot and grim it lifts from the leather.
Malco is the best leather cleaner I've ever used, and I've tried MANY products over the years.

I have have 3 vehicles with leather, don't laugh but my uncle told me many years ago use saddle soap. Found at a tack supply store for horses. I even use it on my work boots no they are not cowboy boots. but they are 15 yrs old. So that should say something.
As I understand it the lanolin in the saddle soap replenishes the oils need to keep it supple and not crack from sun and heat exposure. I hope this helps
Leather CPR, works great on my wife's king ranch. You can get it from Bed, Bath and Beyond in the cleaner section. Wife also uses it on some of her shoes, makes them look new.
