I have a 2012 FX4 luxury package black leather seats with red piping but never came with heat or air conditioner how hard is it to add it when the seats are built for it they have the holes in the leather thanks

 

Not too difficult. Trade your truck in for one that has heated and cooled seats.

Honestly, you would need to buy seats with the heated and cooled function. You would also need to verify the wiring is there for the functions. Also, I believe since the functions are controlled on the MFT(I don't know this as fact since I don't have those fancy doodads) your APIM would need to be programmed for the functions.

Not impossible but I don't think it is a matter of just plugging something in and programming the truck.
