I hope you used washing SODA (should say sodium carbonate as the only ingredient on contents lable) not washing SOAP. Rinse with HOT water and dry completely immediately after removing from bath using rubber gloves to prevent skin acid contact then give a coat of primer or a wiping with a light motor oil or it will start rusting again overnight just from the moisture in the air. I like using a 3M clean and strip wheel (looks like grey plastic "steel wool") with a wipe down with rust converter after to treat light surface rust.

Who says there is nothing on TV anymore, i just wish they had a FTE program, now would that be INTERESTING OR WHAT, i say that program on TV but it was after i had blasted wire brushes sanded and and and i forgot all the other things i tried.
