I'm getting a blinking code with my airbag light, it's one flash then nine flashes and it repeats 5 times and then stays on solid. Can anyone tell me what a 19 code means?


2004 Ford Explorer XLT Sport
V6 with 100,000 miles fast approaching.

Airbag code 19 indicates that the RCM has detected a circuit problem with the driver's side airbag circuit.

That might mean a connector or a clock spring fault or the airbag or RCM has failed electrically.

It is STRONGLY recommend to leave airbag system repairs to someone with the proper training and equipment.
