I got my Auto Enginunity the other day and have been playing around a bit, so far worth the $$. Anyhow to get to the subject.... I'm guessing the EBPS does not take out absolute pressure (readings started at 14.1 psi) The manifold absolute pressure was 13.8 psi. All tests are with the exhaust brake engaged, forgot to record the vehicle speed but here's what I got:
It recorded the whole drive but this is just a small showing, lowest back pressure 14.1, highest 47.81 (33.71 psi). Boost (if reading right) kinda stinks at 3.7 psi. If the head gaskets are good for 40 psi I wouldn't be worried about using the EBPV for a brake, might want to watch at over 2500 rpm's. Going to have to hook into the trailer sometime to see if it makes any difference.
List looks funny, but I can't get it to space out
Boost was crusing/some pedal. So I guess after some thought that really isn't that bad. I didn't try getting into it too hard, gonna wait till someone can hold the laptop.
