I cannot find that on any web site. Details? Cleanable? I would be afraid we are talking K&N type of filter. Maybe I am just missing something.
This is an oiled, reusable(rechargable) AFE filter, very different pleat design than the K&N. From my understanding it is an AFE proprietary filter made specifically for www.airflo.com. Here is their contact number: 1-800-762-9876
I thought we didn't like the oil on filter thing. Something to do with sensors. You guys hash this out then tell me what I need to do. I will be watching this to know how I am suppose to start thinking.

Thanks.
I don't think the oil was the problem with the K&N's it was the fact that they let dirt though. The oil just gave the dirt something to stick too. I am also interested in this new filter. I like the fact of cleaning and reusing them, if infact they are good filters.

Thanks Partick, I thought it was both the oil and the K&N filter. I'll be watching with you.
Guys, this is the same filter media as the AFE stage 2 system. AFE is a respected manufacturer. Check out other vendors to see that the AFE system is the one most recommend. This 6637 replacement filter is made specially for Air Flo systems, there is no part number, since it is a proprietary filter. You have to call the AirFlo phone number that Chris listed, or that is in Kevins first post, Talk to Michael to order one. IIRC it is about $100 for the filter only, or $200 for the complete intake kit shown. The AFE filter media is one of the best. There are too many big HP trucks running stage 2 AFE kits for it not to be good.
I thought for sure this thread would be 5 pages by now. Has everyone found the information they need? I don't know any more than what is posted but could find out if you have questions.

I can't wait to see the monster 5"
It says for 99.5 and up. I have early 99 but I'm sure the plumbing can be easily modified.
I can only imagine what that thing is capable of flowing. I wonder if they will come out with a Proguard-7 version.
According to the other web site forum, the dimensions are:
8.5 inches in diameter
11 inches long
4 inch inside diameter inlet
The dimentions looks to be identical to the 6637.
When someone gets one of these can they confirm the measurements are the same as the 6637? I'd hate to think my airbox was outdated before I even finished it.
