Well, if he knew which one he grounded and hooked to positive each time respectively, it would have eliminated that possibility.

i have the wires color coded red for power and brown for ground

I have been having hard cold starts the past couple days like GPR wasn't working, but my LED was lighting up.

Was is the key word, now I have no light and harder starts. The GPR is the stancor and is only about 3 months old.

I haven't had time to check it out, any thoughts?

its possible that you got a bad relay... Im actually going to go out and test mine to make sure its working...
