depends on lots of things...tires size, gearing, how the engine is tuned...etc...i would figure an average of around 10 mpg with a typical setup....but it varies between vehicles

This is based on the first 100,000 miles of the vehicle with
a 2v C6,2.75:1 gears,235R7515" tires,speed at 60 mph HWY ,or 30 mph City.
Are you ready ?
78 - 400M 2V : 21 Hwy , 17 City
70 - 429 2V : 18.5 Hwy , 14 City
70 - 429 4v : 19 Hwy , 14 City
68 - 428 4v : 19 Hwy , 13 City
74 - 460 4v : 14 Hwy , 11 City
Did that help ?
What is the gas mileage of the 400m, 429, 428, and 460?

Oooops !
Forgot to mention these are based on Imperial gallons.
That would make a difference !
Deduct 20% as an Imperial gallon is 20% less than a U.S. Gallon.
i know it's not really what you're asking, but my car (yeah, not truck) with 351 2V with 4 barrel holley, c4 tranny and 3.25 gears gets about 14mpg average, including highway, city and 'performance' driving.
I agree here with Christian. At best my motor ever got, BRAND NEW WITH 4v heads, and a stock 625 Autolite BRAND NEW in 73 only got 10 MPG. After a rebuild with Midland heads single plane intake, (xcellerator) 750 Holley, Headers, and 3" ecxhaust C6, 2000 converter, and 325 gears, it got MAYBE 14...I just dont think a Carburated Cleveland, can get good mileage...I am not srue, I just dont think so.
