351C Swap
Ok I'm putting a 351C in my 78 those that told me about the bell housing thank you. Now does any one know about motor mounts? I was told that I may have to build my own. Or does any one know about a kit? What about the oil pan will the origanl work or will have to get something else? Thanks for everyones help..

The 351C uses the same motor mounts as a 302/351W. The 300 six cylinder perches would work, as I believe the 302 perches would be too low and the oil pan would hit the cross member. If I am wrong someone will correct me.

I have done this swap in a 4x4 and now i am doing a 79 2wd. if it is a 4x4 you need frame stands from a 351m 400 truck. the motor mounts are for any 302 351w truck. the oilpan is the 351m 400 midsump pan. headers would also be from the 351m 400 truck. you will have to space the motor mounts alittle so the headers tubes will not hit the frame stands. anyother ?,s just ask.
