First ford

I just put some pictures of my first ford truck on here and I wanted to know what you guys think of it.

Well my great uncle had the truck and mainly hauled wood with it. Then he moved down to california and the truck stayed in washington and just sat. Then my grandpa told me that he might know who has a ford for me so i went and looked at it, saw it and knew i had to get it. Who put the 462 lincoln in it, i dont know but that things got some power. Only thing thats wrong with it is the tranny. We took it out and drove it around and 2nd gear doesnt seem to be there. 1st feels good and same with 3rd but no 2nd

Buy a manual and look up the procedure for adjusting the second gear band. A 462 is a rare bird nowadays, it has not been used since 1967-68 ish. Your front hubs are worth a grip of cash. If you swap them out for a set of warns, make sure you keep them. Always check the torque of the retaining bolts, external style hubs have a tendancy to back out.
