brake controler wiring

I just got the Prodigy brake controler and Ford harness for my 04 F2250. The truck has the trailer tow package. Where should the truck conector be? Do I just plug and go or do I need to put a fuse or relay in some where to activate the system like I had to on my GMC?

I am assuming the controller plugs in like a 2000
if you remove bottom panel to fuse box,the plugin should be to the right of steering column kinda above throttle pedal on adash support

Plug a go for me.

I have the P3 on my 04' SD and my dad has the Prodigy on his 03' SD. We both got the premade harness Tekonsha sells with plugs on both ends. We Mounted the controllers plugged the Tekonsha harness into the grey plug behind the dash and we were set.

The Tekonsha wiring harnes costs $10. http://www.tekonsha.com/bch3035.html

No fuses needed. Just find the plug, plug it in, and you're all set.

I had the prodigy brake controller on my 2003 Excursion. Just plug and play. I remember well bacause I watched the guy do it. I asked a simple question to the trailer manufacturer/dealer in Florida. "You mean I am paying $250.00 installation for that"? ANSWER: YEP!~
