This is my first posting so take it easy on me,...
I just purchased a 2001 F250 Crew 4x4 with V10 and factory trailer package. It does have hitch and 7 pin harness and was advertised as being wired for brake controller. Since I am going to be towing a 25' TT, I need a new brake controller.
How do I determine where the wiring is and how to install new brake controller?
I have not yet purchased a new controller so feel free to post suggestions.
Thanks
When the truck was bought new the wireing kit should have been in the glove box. See if it is in there if it is piece of cake to do. I think it has instructions as well but don't remeber.
