Bill, I have read hundreds of your posts and I commend you for providing assistance to so many people (new members and old) on this board.

As for the new guy, I have never seen anyone alienate so many, so quickly, so needlessly. Why would anyone want to help (or do business with) someone like that?

The only one with an "attitude problem" here seems to be the ones who INSIST on attacking me with the SAME old material -over and over. I thought this forum was intended to be a help each other kind of place. Seems all you guys want to do is INSULT others -especially when they stand up for themselves. GET LIVES!

MpanFla....First off, Bill is as mature as they come as far as Im concerned...and secondly, anytime nearly anyone on here asks for this or that he goes diiging on his own time out of the kindness of his heart to help fellow truck lovers like myself for one. True, most of the part numbers are no longer offered by Ford but there ARE other places those numbers can stil be used...I believe theres a HUGE place in Charlotte that does w/o mentioning names.
Im not sure how long you have had your truck and all but if you are new to the whole old car collecting/fixing up hobby theres a couple of basic rules I think we all go by directly or indirectly...DONT BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU!!!!! As I believe I stated prior, if you were to add up all of us on here with extensive correct knowlege on these 6 years of trucks, you would have so many years of experience it would make your head spin...I know it did mine when I joined years ago. it took me all of a couple Q & A threads to realize I had hit the royal motherload of info on these trucks a fair amount of which can also be applied to various cars. This forum, again as i stated earlier is by far the absolute best on the net or anywhere I have found as of yet.
Calling Bill, in not so many words not mature...as I see it, it kinda makes you look like you may be the one lacking...I could be wrong...I dont know, but picking on Bill for whatever reason is a lot worse IMO then biting the hand that feeds you...its like biting the one that feeds you in half...

Read your own words (pay special attention to the tone you used and the CAPS you shouted). By the second post your bad attitude was evident, and by your third entry, your personal criticisms of others had started.

No one has any obligation or duty to help you find parts or get accurate information. If you think that "degredation" has been spewed upon you, look at your own words to find out why. Just a few of your gems:

"wish- they -knew -it -all types that use this and other forums to maturbate their egos"

OK I appolagize for my flippant remark and am sorry for the loss of your Vette. But come on, I've reviewed your posts and you seem to have a problem with everybody here in this thread. Your other thread where you ask for help with a throttle cable and interior door trim piece you got the same help no problem. You asked for help with a correct part. Got an answer as to what was correct for your application then you asked for an "acceptable" alternative and got an answer a simple thanks would be in order.

This site was built for people that truly need help here if you want to start crap go on Jerry Springer and do it!
