Backrack and a tanoue cover

I have a 2001 F250 with an 6.5 foot bed and a extang tanoue cover. I want to get a backrack brand rear guard for my truck. Will it work in conjunction with the soft tanoue cover

I've never seen a tonneau cover that works with a rack, but something like the Truxedo Lo Pro QT might work, since the bed rails are left exposed.
