My pop sold a 67 notchback in Sept 07 for $3500. and it was in a hell of alot better shape than that piece of crap... That thing is worth maybe $500, not $5000
man you have to come back to reality!! its complete, its a 67 mustang, even if it looked like a strainer it'd be worth more than 500 bucks. while 5000 may seem high, i don't believe its that far off the wall. as if you see a dozen '67 mustangs running around everyday everything you posted is either way, or way-way more money, no pics on the cheaper ones so who knows what they look like. the 4500.00 car would be nice, but its a '73. by far not the most desireable mustang year!!
Someone added that "factory" hood scoop (C9ZZ-16C630-C), it wasn't available till 1969. It's also missing the grille center emblem (C7ZZ-8213-A) and bars (C7ZZ-8390-A & B).
Every once in awhile a guy can find them for a cheap price. From the pics though the car doesnt look bad.
Heres my beef with the whole 5000 dollar fixer up mustang. (not just this mustang, ANY 5000 dollarish, fixer upper anything)
For 5 grand you get a nice start. If you look around for another 5 grand you can just about get a complete retored one. Not always but sometimes. For another 10 grand you can get a complete restored car.
Of course thats just an example but you guys probably see what Im getting at.
Regardless thats a cool find sherm, if the car was a little cheaper it could be worth checking into!
The body style is nice but for 5G's I don't think so. If you really want a nice one double up and head down South and get a nice one for 10-12G's. Drive the cars and fix the trucks its an easier road. My mustang is such a pain to work on compared to the trucks.
As for dreaming I would paint it Blue and throw on a set of Cragars and spin them bad boys all night long.... floor or no floor lol
