How does the sensor work when you back up with a 5th-wheel or trailer attached, does it beep all the time because it is "sensing" the towed rig? Or is the trailer/5th-wheel far enough away from the sensors to trigger them?
Thanks,
Myotis
Like prancer said, you have to turn it off. Just to give you an idea, mine is so sensitive it will beep when I have my WD hitch in the receiver, and no trailer. It sees just the ball.
Same as most. I kinda laughed at the guy i bought my 350 from when he said he thought they were the greatest. And him too. the Dealer was pushing him on how great they were and forced him to back up in the new car lot without using his mirrors.
Except for the miscalculation backing into my driveway (with the music too loud and unable to hear the backup sensor) and putting a 4" square hole in the bumper of my wife's audi, i use them religiously and would recommend them.
