I was dumb founded when I was driving to work this morning and saw that diesel was almost 3.80/gallon. This is outrageuos and could seriously contribute to higher costs around the board for majority of all good and services we depend upon within the US. Majority of transport, work and service vehicles run diesel. WTF is this crap. I cannot imagine$4/gallon but at this rate it is very possible. I knopw someone on the board last week said they thought the increase of diesel was due to winter heating. Majority of the country had a warmer winter then last year. It was also much colder here in NJ a month 1/2 ago then now. Not even close. Heck today is way above 60. I cannot believe I am actually looking for a 4 cyclinder to get back and forth to work. At these cost I will need another 10K in my salary to pay for my wife gas and my diesel.
Hear in Tucson today I have seen diesel as high as $3.85 as low as $3.45 I put $75 in yesterday and just got ½ of a tank. I just wish they would let you get more then $75 at a time with out having to slide the card again. By the way it is $3.45 at the Valero on Orange Grove La Cholla. If I have get diesel at the higher price places it seems like I have to drain my water separator never at the Valero. They probably make more money on there diesel due to how much they sell.
It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago that could fill up my 1979 Mercedes 300D for under $25 (14 gallon tank) I wish I still had the car it got 40MPG, but I got T-boned by a car going 75MPH.
