My 90 Bronco won't stay running. To drive you have to massage the gas and brake to keep it around 800 rpms. I searched the forum read up but did'nt see any problems like this. Check engine light is on. So IAC, ignition module, etc? Thanks.
www.fordfuelinjection.com has instructions for pulling codes using a paperclip and counting the blinks. its not hard but necessary before you start throwing money at it.
Pull the Iac, Hold the solenoid dealy up and spray the valve area out with carb cleaner
move and spin the valve so you get all sides of it. let it dry, put Rtv on it and silver
antisieze on the bolts. The TPS wires should point to the Iac roughly if they are
way off you will need to check and set the tps voltage. What does it idle at with
the IAC unplugged? You may need to adjust the hard throttle stop if it backed off
you could have some wacky idle issues.
