I am thinking about the superglide, why do you have to back in straight.
Its got to do with the the capture plate locks in to the hitch, you can back into it at slight angles up to 16 degrees. I think you would like the superglide, can you get by without A slider? probably, but forget 1 time & there goes your back window. the reason I wanted A auto slider was in case you get into A jacknife type wreck, the camper is going straight for the head of whoever is sitting in the backseat at least this way its probably gonna hit the side of the truck first. its cheap insurance as far as Im concerned.
I'm with Johnny567...I've got the Pullrite and love it!! A bit pricey, but I saved some by installing it myself. Take your time and measure twice, cut once. Have never regretted spending the money!...Brian

Montana builds some good looking trailers, enjoy. just follow the maintanence directions from pullrite & the hitch will be troublefree. greasing the way tubes is very important with them.
I have a 2006 CC SB and a HiJacker Autoslide 5th wheel hitch. Works great. The HiJacker auto slide uses two pieces of angle on the top of the hitch plate that you adjust to the width of your hitch box, that way you don't need an adapter plate. It was a hair cheaper then the pullrite, but every little bit helps, right?
I also have the firestone riderite airbags with on board compressor, I would definately recommend getting the compressor.
I think I lucked out. Bought a new trailer and hitch to put in my truck. I decided on a Reese 16k slider and paid for it. Went to have it installed yesterday and the RV dealer made a mistake and installed a Pullrite 18k auto slider. ($1000 more). It was there mistake they were up front about it and said take the hitch you don't owe us anything.
